Here are some awesome photos taken by our tour guides during the month of January 2015.  Photos are a part of every guided tour and really make the experience a memorable one.

SUPfest’s “Lazy Dog Bone Island 6-Miler ” In Key West was a fun paddle race down the channel, through the island canals, under bridges, around mangroves and other obstacles, and exits to the Gulf of Mexico finishing back at the lazy Dog Paddle Shack!   Team Rider Travis Kindt had a blast as he raced to win 1st place in his division!  We want to thank all the team members of Lazy Dog and all the racers for being such great overall people!!  Its amazing, each time we go to these races, to see the support each racer gives to each other.  Wouldn’t have it any other way!

The First Paddleboard Specific Company In Martin County Announces The Opening Of Their 2nd Location

Stuart, FL, February 3, 2015– After being the #1 company for proper paddleboard instruction and exciting paddleboard adventure & eco tours, Coastal Paddle Boarding announces the opening of their Sandsprit Park location.  Sandsprit Park, located at the heart of the inlet opening, has been the go-to local area for fun in the sun for many years.  A recreational destination for all ages, Sandsprit is a waterfront park with spectacular views and is fully equipped with a kids park, an exercise circuit, numerous pavilions for parties/gatherings, dockage for fishing, boat ramps and beaches for launching personal non-motorized watercraft.  Put this all together and you have the perfect location for Paddleboard rentals and guided tour launches.

Coastal Paddle Boarding, having worked with the county for the past 5 years ensuring all the proper measures are taken – including but not limited to proper liability insurance and backgrounds checks for employees, has the only permit available for this location.  Rochelle Neumann, founding member of Coastal Paddle Boarding, states “Safety of our customers is ALWAYS our primary concern.”  Regarding the permit finally obtained by Coastal, after years of planning, Rochelle has said “We want everything to be done the proper way.  The legal way.  That ensures a happy relationship with both the county and local businesses.  We want everybody to be on the same page when it comes to the expansion of our company (Coastal Paddle Boarding) because it doesn’t only mean more customers for us, it means more customers for the local businesses surrounding us.  We promote all our locals and are happy to be expanding within our own community.”

“This new location will bring a whole new clientele to our business, allowing for boaters to grab a paddleboard on their way out to a day on the water, going out to the sandbar, or a fishing trip.  The park is the perfect paddleboarding area for many reasons, including the fact that it is also the home of our annual Paddlefest, which takes place on Memorial Day each year.” Says Dan Neumann, husband of Rochelle and also a founding member of Coastal Paddle Boarding.

Open primarily on Saturday & Sunday from 8-6, Coastal Paddle Boarding plans on having the rental location open 7 days a week within a few months.  Customers can simply show up or they can pre-schedule a paddleboard rental by calling or texting 772-341-8898.  They also do guided tours and “Paddle Parties”.

“Coastal Paddle Boarding is the company my kids ask for now when we are planning their birthday parties” – DJ Warner

So, as the company motto says:  “Don’t Just Sit There, Stand Up & Paddle!”
